More DLC potentially hitting your face soon

Tim SchaferTim Schafer has taken part in an insightful interview with GamePro, discussing the reaction to his game and why certain decisions were made. Just a few of the topics brought up include why the RTS elements were downplayed right up until release, the marketing, and the included music.

Regarding the DLC:

“We definitely want to do more DLC for both single-player and multiplayer, as well as some tuning patches.”

Let’s hope that’s PR babble for “We’re working on these right now and they’ll be out soon”!

Well I think the DLC is the easy part, but the fine tunning is not.

Yeah, Brutal Legend definitely needs a balance patch for multiplayer. The most popular tactic online currently seems to be fire baron rushing as Ironheade (due to the fact that fire barons are cheap, fast, and do a lot of damage against both infantry and buildings), and it’s a pretty difficult tactic to counter. Tweaking the balance in multiplayer would hopefully result in more diverse strategies than just spamming a single type of unit.

i think its true that the multiplayer needs balancing out but im hoping that the singleplayer game should be great.
