Official Brutal Legend site revamped

Official Brutal Legend siteAs the game draws closer to release, Electronic Arts has seen it fit to completely revamp the official Brutal Legend site. Not too much has been added, but things are laid out a bit better and the site does a much better job of showing what the game’s all about.

You’ll also notice that the site now lets you listen to music, using tracks that’ll be in Brutal Legend itself. Unfortunately this means you can’t actually access the site at the moment if you choose certain territories, presumably because of music licensing issues. Choose ‘United States’ for best results.

Just needs a nice link to BRUTAL! and it’ll be perfect!

When will they learn? We’re in the 20th Century. Licensing shit based on territory doesn’t work anymore.

Was impressed with how well the new video player worked. When expanded to full screen looked the same. Got to say was impressed with that. First time I have seen that without it looking horrible for the trailers was nice to see.

Ugh!

I keep getting the ol’ error message, Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Bullcrap!

Anyone else getting this problem.

Works fine with Firefox. Things like that is why it is wise to have multiple browsers just to double cheek if it is the browser or the site. I have IE on my pc and Opera, but Firefox is the one I am the most comfortable with is why I use it. Others that may be IE or Opera like with my dad. Whatever internet browser you have, you should always have another on hand to cheek to see if it is the browser. Sometimes using Firefox is why I am having trouble with a site that doesn’t happen with IE, and vice versa. No one browser can work on every site possible. Just isn’t possible. Each have there own way of browsing the internet is why. So try using a different internet browser may help solve the problem.

You mean the videos I’ve been putting up don’t look good when you hit the HD button, Mykal?! :(

I agree though, really good job they’ve done of the new site. Starting to make me feel like touching this up a bit with a splash more colour.

No it is regarding full screen viewing. Youtube downgrades the video quality to have it play. So the errors are shown at full screen. This is mainly because YouTube expands the pixels of the video that had been downgraded to that quality and pixilation shows. The Official Brutal Legend site’s video played at fullscreen looking as good as in the player dimensions. Only one second within the whole video had a hickup near the begining which seem to only occur cause of processing the action. When rewinded it to watch it again the second of pixilation wasn’t there.

The going to full screen without any pixilation was the first I have seen of it on the Offical Brutal Legend site.
