i thought since it said it was an in game guitar that eventually you unlock it. now im hoping that they release it as a game add on.

I had the same problem… the code I was given by Gamestop did nothing more than give me a week’s early access to the demo.

I pre-ordered a long time ago. I had to go ask for a code, and realized when I got home that it was just an early demo code. Are they giving out codes for the guitar yet, or are those when you pick the game up?

I think it’s very probable the offer will make it into other territories, but I’ve not seen anything confirming it yet. If anyone does spot their local stores offering it with the bonus, let me know as I’ll want to incorporate that into an ordering information section I’m going to do.

Ummm, EB Games and Gamestop are the basically the same company EB Games is owned by Gamestop as a division of Gamestop. As far as I know you get the same thing if your pre-order from either store. We used to have an EB Games at our mall and we always got the same stuff that you got if you preordered from Gamestop. However, now the changed the signs to offically make it into a Gamestop as opposed to an EB Games.

I know, just something that pisses me off. It is just something small I am pissed off at is all cause I was looking for it and it got changed. I was as pissed when the release date got changed. Something you will get use to, just still sucks that it happen is all.

Just watch as another company like Best Buy comes out with another exclusive item. Something similar to that happened with Psychonauts, meaning if you wanted both exclusive t-shirts you had to buy the game twice.

I guess it’s just business. GameStop would have been willing to pay for something special, and Double Fine delivered.
